Compo Paint
Using the Compo Paint

This Compo repair paint is oil based. DO NOT add water or Acrylic paint. The light and deep base colors available can be blended with one another and if you would like to change the color a bit it can be tinted with oil color available in small tubes from your local craft store.
The paint can be thinned with linseed oil and a few drops of Japan Dryer will speed drying time.(Both available in small bottles at your local Craft/Art Supply store)

Patch any holes with Plastic Wood. Let dry and sand smooth. Thin the paint to a nice smooth consistency and apply the paint with a soft brush. This paint is suitable for airbrushing as well. Let dry and reapply if necessary. Brush strokes will disappear as the paint flows and dries. For the rosy knees and elbows your baby had, thin a drop or two of rose or red oil paint, rub on and then off before it dries. Repeat to build up the color. The same method can be used for hair color.

Brushes can be cleaned with mineral spirits. Keep lots of paper towel handy for easier clean up. REMEMBER!! Keep this and all paint products out of the reach of children.
